Booking terms and conditions

CUVR Studio Booking terms are non-negotiable

All bookings will need to be paid in full at the time of booking ~ Booking times and dates are not confirmed until payment has been received.


Booking time slots include set up, clean up and pack up so please consider this when planning your booking. There may be a booking straight after yours so please be considerate of others and ensure you have vacated the studio by the end of your booking. All bookings that exceed their time slot may be charged an additional fee.

All booking cancellations require 48 hours notice or the renter will forfeit 50% of the cost of the booking. Bookings can be canceled with more than 48 hours notice and a full refund will be issued to the renter. If you leave the studio prior to your booking time ending, you will not be entitled to a refund or credit for future bookings.

Liability & Insurance:

  • The Hirer agrees to indemnify Cuvr Studio against any costs including legal costs, damages, payments, fines, or interests Cuvr Studio may incur as a result of the Hirer breaching this agreement.

  • Cuvr Studio is not responsible for circumstances outside its control that affect the hiring of the space, such as power outages or weather conditions. In such cases, Cuvr Studio may offer to reschedule opportunities.

  • Cuvr Studio reserves the right to terminate its agreement with the client at any time, with or without notice. If a client breaches this agreement or if unforeseen circumstances prevent the client from fulfilling his or her obligations as specified in this agreement, Cuvr Studio may end the agreement immediately.

  • To protect both you and the studio, we ask that all Hirers hold public liability insurance. We also recommend that you carry equipment insurance to cover the risks associated with any damage to your equipment. We may ask to see these policies before hiring our space, but it is your responsibility to obtain them.

  • Cuvr Studio will not be held liable for any personal injury, theft, or property damage that may occur during your use of our studio.

Cleaning requirements:

  • When you leave, please leave the studio in the same condition that you found it.

  • Booking time slots include set up and pack up so please consider this when making your booking. We allow 30 extra minutes after your booking to clean up, but this time cannot be used to shoot any additional content.

  • If you do not wish to clean up after yourself (put items back to their original space, vacuum, mop and wipe down any glass surfaces if required) you may opt for paying the additional cleaning fee for a cleaner.

  • After your booking upon inspection, if professional cleaning is required, you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.

  • Damages to studio space, furniture, and props are the responsibility of the hirer. Cuvr Studio will advise you on replacement fees for damages. This includes any spills, excessive wear or damage to the furniture, painted surfaces or any breakages in the studio.

  • All rubbish and belongings brought into the studio must be taken out when you leave, so that the space is returned to its original state.

Booking Times:

  • Booking time slots include set up and pack up so please consider this when making your booking. If you do not pay the additional cleaning fee, we allow 30 extra minutes after your booking to clean up, but this time cannot be used to shoot any additional content.

  • Any bookings that go over the agreed hire time (unless within the 30 mins cleaning allocation) will be charged additional costs.

Furniture and Props:
Under no circumstances are heavy furniture and backdrops to be moved. All other props can be moved around the studio, but please ensure these are put back before the end of your booking. Dragging items along the floor may result in scratches to the floor, which will be charged to the hirer.

Parking & Neighbours

There are two allocated parking lots for the studio (park 16 and 8). There is also customer parking and street parking on Torres Cres nearby for additional cars, should you require it. You can park in front of the studio to unload everything you need prior to parking your car if you wish. Please be mindful of the other businesses and do not use their allocated car spaces.

  • Under no circumstances are vehicles permitted to park in a space allocated to another unit.

  • Vehicles must not be parked in such a way that causes access issues for other units.

  • Parking in front of the unit for longer than needed to unload your vehicle is not allowed.

  • Please do not loiter in front of other tenants' doors or in the common areas.

  • Excessive noise is not permitted in the building. Please respect your neighbours by keeping noise at a reasonable level.

Smoking & Candles:
No smoking, lighting of candles or any type of fire hazard is permitted on the premises under any circumstances for your health and safety.

Animals/Pets:
Animals are not permitted on the premises at any time.

Paper Backdrops:

Please note that paper backdrops are not included in the booking. If you wish to use them, there is a fee of $50 per colour during your session.

Food & Drinks:

We kindly ask that you do not consume any food or drinks inside the studio, with the exception of water in a secure water bottle. Please be mindful of maintaining cleanliness and avoiding any spills or stains on the furniture.

Returning the space to its original state:

To ensure that everything is returned to its original place and the studio is left in a suitable condition for the next booking, we kindly request that you take an image of how the studio looks before you begin your session. This will serve as a reference for you to return everything to where it belongs. Failure to return items or clean the space appropriately may result in your exclusion from future studio bookings.

Minors:

Minors must be supervised on-site at all times by an adult.

Studio Security

Detailed instructions on accessing the studio will be sent to the email of the renter, prior to your booking time. Studio must be securely locked in accordance with the instructions issued to the person who made the booking. Failure to adhere to these instructions will incur a fee.

Motion sensor and security cameras are installed inside the photography area of the premises.

Important

Please turn off the air conditioning, lights and steamer when you leave the studio. Please also make sure that nothing is left on the floor below the roller door, that will block it before it is lowered.
